Westringia fruticosa (Coastal Rosemary) is a large bushy shrub that grows near the coast in eastern Australia. Coastal rosemary is not edible but belongs to the same family as the culinary plants Mint , Rosemary and Lavender.

Coastal Rosemary is hardy, fast growing and tolerant of salt and sea spray. This shrub features small blue/green leaves and white hairy flowers that attract butterflies and small birds.

Coastal Rosemary is very easy to grow and is great for hedging or sculpting into various shapes.  The coastal rosemary is an incredibly drought hardy plant that looks great all year.  Prune in early winter for best results

Fertilize in spring with native slow release fertilizer or compost before mulching.
