With a flower resembling the frost tender hibiscus, this is one way to get a bit of the tropics into your hanging or potted garden, balcony/al fresco area and bathroom.
With minimum maintenance other than pruning and regular watering, the long lived flowers make them an attractive prospect to the home gardener and to those that want an easy to care for splash of colour in the house.
While easily maintained to a small size or weeping shape, this plant can be trained to surround windows or have their stems twisted to form an upright trunk, easily filling a corner in an entertainment or eating area.
