Looking at this palm's distinctive shaped leaf it's easy to see where the Fishtail Palm got its name! This is an easy to grow, fast-growing, clustering palm that tolerates light frost. Fertilise once a month after watering to avoid root burn. The fruit produced by the Fishtail Palm contains a toxic acid when ingested. Avoid contact with the fruit too as it may result in chemical burns.
