The Pink crown protea is the compact form of the King Protea which produces pink flowers from summer through to winter.
Protea Pink Crown is a small shrub that grows to half a meter and has dark green leaves as well as its pink flowers which can be cut and used for floral arrangements. As with all Proteas, the Pink crown Protea is a very drought hardy plant once established.
The genus Protea was named after the Greek God Proteus prefers full sun, but can tolerate partial shade and mild frost.
Fertilize in spring with native slow release fertilizer or compost before mulching.
