Kay parris magnolia is a smaller and beautiful compact evergreen. It's slightly wavy edge dark glossy green large leaves and large white fragrant flowers make a great screening or hedging tree to block out unwanted attention and provide privacy.
The Kay parris magnolia flowers in summer/autumn. but will flower through-out the year.
Pruning in late winter will ensure an abundant host of flowers for the upcoming season.
The varieties of hybrids in the Magnolia family produce a range of beautiful flowers that make great features in backyards. The Magnolia family plants are also slow growing and will live for a long time if maintained.
Mulch well and fertilize with a general purpose slow release fertilizer or compost in early spring.
