Popular as an ornamental tree, the Cocos Palm is easy to grow and is attractive in groupings and as a background tree. Fertilise at least 3 times a year with a slow-release fertiliser. Its fruits are sought out by birds and flying foxes. Cocos Palms are fast growing. The Cocos Palm needs pruning of dead fronds and regular applications of slow release fertilizer to keep it looking at it's best.
