Flowering late spring through to summer, the Kangaroo Paw is an iconic native. Its leaves are long and thin and can grow up to a metre in length. Each plant can grow up to 10 stems that can bear up 35 velvety flowers (yellow-green or brown-red) each during its flowering season. The Kangaroo Paw is hardy and tolerates most soil types and conditions. Kangaroo Paws may be grown in pots and are great cut flowers.Attracts birds.
