Occasionally single-trunked, the European Fan Palm usually grows in clusters. Slowing growing, it reaches 2-5m tall with a 20-25cm trunk diameter. The European Fan Palm is easy to care for and if not pruned can appear more tree-like than shrub-like. Being highly frost and drought tolerant, the European Fan Palm is a great plant for those that want a palm without the height, or to use as an understory plant in any palm garden.Water once a week for the first year.
