Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem' is commonly referred to as Dwarf magnolia.
This frost tolerant and disease resistant variety has shiny green leaves and during summer, the little gem magnolia produces an abundance of large, perfumed creamy white flowers.
Pruning in late winter will ensure an abundant host of flowers for the upcoming season.
The varieties of hybrids in the Magnolia family produce a range of beautiful flowers that make great features in backyards. The Magnolia family plants are also slow growing and will live for a long time if maintained.
