Crepe Myrtle (White) Indian Summer

The crepe myrtle is a hardy tree that grows up to 8 meters but can also be pruned into a 3M shrub.  When regularly pruned it becomes a dense large shrub more than a tree, pruning also increases the number of flowers you will get.

The Indian Summer variety was bred to resist powdery mildew, but still benefits from being planted in an area with good air flow and light.  The Indian summer crepe myrtle is one of the world's most fantastic flowering trees, and will do wonders for the yield of any veggie garden by keeping the pollinators happy.
