This prostrate conifer is hardy and tough and forms a dense fresh green groundcover that works well in rockeries. It bears small green berries that brown when ripe. Requiring little maintenance the green foliage can change during winter to a steely grey providjng winter interest. Once established, deals well with drought. Shore Juniper benefits from a long-term slow release fertiliser once a year.
