The Queensland Bottle Tree (Brachychiton rupestris) is native of Queensland is a really hardy Aussie tree.
The Queensland Bottle Tree thrives in a warmer climate, but is also known to grow in much colder climates. The bottle tree gets it's name from it's swollen trunk that is used for water storage.
The qld bottle tree has bell shaped pale yellow flowers that appear from October to December. These trees look great as a backyard feature tree or stunning as pot plants.
The iconic Queensland bottle tree is a very slow growing plant that requires no maintenance and minimal water from the get go. These are a very long lived tree that can also be used as a Banzai.
