Callistemon ‘Dawson River Weeper’ is a tall shrub with weeping branches and grey/green foliage. The Dawson River Weeper features red bottlebrush flowers that last for most of the year, but look their best during spring and autumn.
Also known as a weeping bottlebrush, it is perfect as a screening plant or to attract exotic native birds. The Dawson river weeper is also a fantastic evergreen specimen plant that requires an absolute minimum of maintenance.
A very drought hardy plant, like all callistemons, it wants to be fertilized in spring with native slow release fertilizer or compost before mulching.
