Callistemon sieberi, otherwise known as River Bottlebrush is from the Myrtaceae family and is a good screening shrub for moist or wetter areas in a garden.
The River Bottlebrush is an adaptable plant that is drought and shade tolerant. It is a great plant to attract bees and bird life.
The River Bottlebrush Callistemon features narrow sharp leaves and the pink/cream flower is in abundance during the warmer months (November to March).
A very drought hardy plant, like all Callistemons, the Callistemon sieberi wants to be fertilized in spring with native slow release fertilizer or compost before mulching.
