Young's weeping birch is a weeping feature tree from the Betulaceae family. Betula pendula 'Youngii' is a slow growing plant that has small green leaves that turn yellow in autumn that the bark is an appealing white texture.
Tolerating most soil types, the 'Youngii' is a small deciduous tree that has long sweeping branches that will make a feature in any garden.
Ideal for placing on a northern wall to provide shade in summer and to allow light through in winter.
Fertilize in spring with general purpose slow release fertilizer or compost before mulching.
